In this episode we're with Professor Tim Rowley who joins us to talk about INSEAD's latest governance programme, IDP Connect: Boardroom in Practice, aimed squarely at graduates of the International Directors Programme. Tim also explains what makes him excited about this new offer and why lifelong learning is of critical importance for those working at a governance level. 

Blue Ocean Strategy, an innovation framework developed at INSEAD, has been evolving the suit the times we live in, both as a theory and in practice on the executive programme of the same name.

AI, typically a driver for productivity and boosting efficiency, is now woven throughout said programme to illustrate how it can be used to test and refine Blue Ocean ideas. Programme Director, Professor Andrew Shipilov, explains how.

"Do you want to die in blissful ignorance? Or do you want to know a little bit more about what it's like to not be just truly human, but what it's like to be truly you. We tend to get caught up in the tide of the life that we're leading and as result of that we not only miss certain things about the activity in which we are occupied but we also miss thing about ourselves."

Professor Graham Ward explains why self-exploration is crucial for senior leaders if they want to effectively lead other people.
